Ibra shuts down MLS reporter in hilarious style

An MLS reporter enquired whether Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the best player in the MLS whilst sat in the same room as the former United and PSG giant. Bad decision.

A brave ESPN reporter chose to read out some impressive stats about LAFC striker and former Arsenal man Carlos Vela, suggesting he could be… dare we say it… even better than Zlatan.

“You said right now you are the best player in Major League Soccer,” said the reporter.

“Carlos Vela in this moment has 19 goals and 12 assists and his team is leading the MLS.

“Do you still consider yourself the best player in the MLS?” he added.

The Swede, clearly surprised by the question, was very honest with his answer, as you’d imagine.

“By far, because he’s in his prime. How old is he? Twenty-nine and he’s playing in the MLS and he’s in his prime.

“When I was 29 I was in Europe. Big difference.”

Well, talk about being shot down. We reckon Ibra has a fair point though.

In true Zlatan style, earlier this season, he claimed he was “bigger than the MLS.”

He’s definitely not short of confidence, that’s for sure!

Chelsea vs Manchester United

Both Teams To Score & Draw

Chelsea have scored twice in each of their last two PL outings and a 60% majority of Chelsea’s PL matches have seen both teams score. These teams will be definitely very balanced and a draw is very likely. Chelsea have settled for 3 draws in their last five Premier League games. Manchester United are also fond of scoring recently netting at least one goal in four of their last five.

A.C Milan vs Torino

A.C Milan to score in both halves

On a run of four straight SA defeats which saw them score twice but concede a whopping 16 (4.00 per game), Torino are on a downward spiral. Indeed, these 16 goals account for 38.10% of their total conceded this season. It’s unlikely they will be able to hold back this A.C Milan side, especially away from home.

Châteauroux vs Lens

Lens to Win

Lens sit second and haven’t lost in their last five games. Chateauroux are sitting at 16th and will likely be dominated for most of the game. Chateauroux have also lost two in their last five and have little chance of holding back promotion hopefuls Lens.

19:30

VfL Bochum vs VfB Stuttgart

VfB Stuttgart Over 1.5 Team Goals

Promotion hopefuls Stuttgart are likely to beat relegation Bochum, who are currently in awful form losing three of their last five putting them just above the relegation zone. Stuttgart have also managed to score at least two goals four times in their last six matches.

19:00

NAC Breda vs Jong Ajax

Over 3.5 Goals

There has been at least 3.5 goals in three of the last four games for Jong Ajax. Breda have also managed a similar stat with two of their last four having over 3.5 goals. These teams will be relatively balanced but Ajax will have the upper hand. This is likely to be a high scoring game similar to the last few times these teams have met.

19:15

Hannover 96 II vs Hamburg SV II

Both Teams To Score

Both of these teams are fighting for survival in the German second division with Hannover 96 failing to score just once in their last five games. The last time these two clashed it was a 1-1 draw, but Hannover seem to have the upper hand in this one as they go into this games winning four of their last five.
